Le journaliste aurait aussi bien pu commencer par le second sondage et titrer\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0<em>La cote de confiance d&rsquo;Emmanuel Macron continue son \u00e9rosion\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> \u2026 ce qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 tout aussi faux.<\/p>\n<p>Pourquoi\u00a0? Parce que si <a href=\"https:\/\/www.francetvinfo.fr\/politique\/emmanuel-macron\/la-cote-de-confiance-d-emmanuel-macron-remonte-legerement_3103723.html\">francetvinfo.fr<\/a> pr\u00e9cise que <em>\u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;enqu\u00eate a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s d&rsquo;un \u00e9chantillon de 1 029 personnes repr\u00e9sentatif de la population fran\u00e7aise \u00e2g\u00e9e de 18 ans et plus, selon la m\u00e9thode des quotas\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, ce qui fait s\u00e9rieux, il ne viendrait pas \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e au journaliste de pr\u00e9ciser que le r\u00e9sultat aurait aussi bien pu \u00eatre \u2026 28%, vue que la marge d\u2019erreur pour un \u00e9chantillon d\u2019un millier est de 3% pour un r\u00e9sultat proche de 30%.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ceux qui souhaiteraient calculer la marge d\u2019erreur \u00e0 95% de confiance, la formule est\u00a0: 1,96 *\u221a [ pourcentage * (1 &#8211; pourcentage) \/ \u00e9chantillon].<\/p>\n<p>Interpel\u00e9 par les lecteurs, le journaliste \u2013 plut\u00f4t que de reconna\u00eetre qu\u2019il ne conna\u00eet rien aux statistiques, ce qui ne l\u2019emp\u00eache pas d\u2019en commenter sans cesse \u2013 pr\u00e9f\u00e8re botter en touche\u00a0: <em>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons \u00e9crit \u00ab\u00a0remonte l\u00e9g\u00e8rement\u00a0\u00bb, ce qui traduit plus un fr\u00e9missement \u2013 au mieux \u2013 qu&rsquo;un raz-de-mar\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Et de pr\u00e9ciser\u00a0: <em>\u00ab\u00a0Il y a plusieurs barom\u00e8tres qui mesurent la popularit\u00e9 d&rsquo;Emmanuel Macron.
