{"id":24735,"date":"2011-04-07T21:26:28","date_gmt":"2011-04-07T21:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/marketingisdead.blogspirit.com\/archive\/2011\/04\/07\/archive-with-orchestra.html"},"modified":"2011-04-07T21:26:28","modified_gmt":"2011-04-07T21:26:28","slug":"archive-with-orchestra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/consumerinsight.eu\/marketingisdead\/archive-with-orchestra\/","title":{"rendered":"Archive with Orchestra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pas grand-chose de passionnant dans l\u2019activit\u00e9 musicale pop ou rock ces mois-ci.<\/p>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, il y a le dernier <em>Radiohead<\/em>, le dernier <em>Rem<\/em>&nbsp;: rien de g\u00e9nial, le retour du groupe de <em>Thom Yorke<\/em> semble assez d\u00e9cevant, surtout apr\u00e8s les extraordinaires livraisons d\u2019il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, pareil pour celui de <em>Michael Stipe<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Le dernier <em>Neil Young<\/em> est plut\u00f4t besogneux, tout comme celui de <em>Marianne Faithfull<\/em>&nbsp;: bref, c\u2019est pas la joie, seul le dernier <em>Richard Hawley, Truelove&rsquo;s Gutter<\/em>, sort du lot.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019attendais avec impatience le dernier opus des <em>Strokes<\/em>, <em>Angles<\/em>&nbsp;: apr\u00e8s tant d\u2019ann\u00e9es&nbsp;! Plus abouti, mais on est loin de <em>Is This It<\/em>&nbsp;!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img id=\"media-577718\" style=\"margin: 0.7em 0pt;\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/marketingisdead.blogspirit.com\/media\/02\/02\/360276642.JPG?w=1060\" alt=\"Archive.JPG\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Alors heureusement qu\u2019il y a <strong>Archive<\/strong>, un groupe \u00e9trange, avec une musique naviguant entre pop, rock, et trip hop \u2013 plus quelques zestes d\u2019\u00e9lectro.<\/p>\n<p>Mais surtout un groupe qui tente de multiples exp\u00e9riences, comme de se produire au Grand Rex avec un orchestre classique de 28 musiciens&nbsp;!<\/p>\n<p>On les compare parfois \u00e0 <em>Pink Floyd<\/em>&nbsp;: m\u00eame go\u00fbt pour l\u2019innovation, la recherche \u2026 et m\u00eame exp\u00e9rience de m\u00ealer instruments \u00e9lectriques et sonorit\u00e9s pop et rock \u00e0 la richesse d\u2019une formation classique.<\/p>\n<p>A la fin des ann\u00e9es 60 et au d\u00e9but des 70, plusieurs groupes tent\u00e8rent l\u2019aventure de m\u00ealer classique et pop&nbsp;: on se souviendra du fastueux <em>Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra<\/em> de <em>Procol Harum<\/em>, ou de <em>Days of Future Passed<\/em> des <em>Moody Blues<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sans oublier les incursions de <em>Frank Zappa<\/em>, qui enregistra (au synclavier) un album de musique de chambre sous le nom de <em>Francesco Zappa<\/em>, se pr\u00e9tendant avec une telle assurance le descendant de ce compositeur italien inconnu, que d\u2019aucuns croient encore \u00e0 la supercherie \u2013 y compris <a href=\"http:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Francesco_Zappa\">Wikipedia<\/a> !<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9guli\u00e8rement les artistes pop succombent \u00e0 la tentation du classique \u2013 y compris Peter Gabriel qui s\u2019y est rat\u00e9&nbsp;; voir mon papier <a href=\"http:\/\/marketingisdead.blogspirit.com\/archive\/2010\/03\/23\/peter-gabriel-a-bercy.html\" target=\"_blank\">ici<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Alors&nbsp;?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ce fut vraiment un GRAND moment \u2026 qui se passe de commentaires, donc&nbsp;!<\/p>\n<p>Enfin&nbsp;!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pas grand-chose de passionnant dans l\u2019activit\u00e9 musicale pop ou rock ces mois-ci.
